Bubble Braid Hair Tutorial for Tweens – Easy, Fun & Totally on Trend
🎀 Bubble Braid Tutorial – For Kids to Follow Themselves
Hey there! Want to learn a super cool hairstyle that looks just like Princess Jasmine’s from Aladdin?
You’re going to love the bubble braid — it’s fun, fast, and you can totally do it yourself (or get a grown-up to help with the first few tries!).
Here’s how to do it step by step:
✨ What You’ll Need:
-
A brush
-
Some small hair bands (clear or colourful — your choice!)
-
A mirror
-
A cute bow or scrunchie for the end (optional but fun!)
👧 Step-by-Step Bubble Braid for Tweens
Step 1: Brush your hair
Make sure it’s smooth and tangle-free. You can spray a bit of water or leave-in conditioner if it’s feeling frizzy.
Step 2: Tie your hair into a ponytail
High, low, or in the middle — go with what you like best!
Step 3: Add another hair band
Put it a little way down from your ponytail.
Now gently pull at the hair between the two bands so it poofs out — this makes your first “bubble!”
Step 4: Keep going!
Add more bands every few inches and puff out the hair in between each one.
You’ll see the bubbles forming one by one — so fun!
Step 5: Add a cute finish
Put a bow, scrunchie, or glitter clip at the end if you like. Ta-da! You’ve made your own bubble braid!
💡 Top Tips:
-
Try doing two bubble braids (one on each side!) for a fun party look
-
If your hair is slippery, ask a grown-up for help with the bands
-
You can use colourful elastics to match your outfit
